Flatterland: Unconventional
For my unconventional re-design of Flatterland I created a series of A1 posters that were put together to complete a chapter of the book. Each chapter was made up of 6 posters that would be delivered one a day, Monday–Saturday, over the course of 18 weeks until all the chapters had been delivered.

The chapter I chose to design was chapter 6: Cat Country, where I based my design around a defining quote within the opening paragraph of that chapter:

‘Cat Country is so complicated even scientists find it
difficult to understand what goes on.’

With that in mind I decided to manipulate the chapter, making it difficult to read and understand.

I also designed chapter 18: The Tenth Dimension to show how the smaller chapters with less type can work on such a big scale.
